Severe Panic Attacks

Why am I plagued by severe panic attacks? This is one simple question Carol asked that triggered my desire to help. You can eliminate panic attacks today if you refuse to self-sabotage your treatment. The good news is that there are natural and effective cure for severe panic attacks.

Carol, 17, was very much a loner and a victim of the bullies at school. Since she left last summer she’s been suffering from panic attacks, which seem worse in hot or stormy weather.

Her doctor referred her to a psychologist but she could not establish any rapport with him and hoped that a steady job and supportive relationship would help cure her severe panic attacks. Unhappily it did not and she has become desperate to find a way to stop the attacks.

There are many people like Carol, who are already contemplating suicide as an option to overcome attacks. If you are like Carol, do not despair. Your severe panic attacks will be cured easily and naturally without any complex and frequent visits to hospitals. But you must be ready to motivate yourself and take actions immediately.

Having suffered from severe panic attacks in the past, I do know how you feel. Weather-related problems as experience by Carol have affected me too in the past.

I would advise that you take advantage of the ONE MOVE technique which I used to eliminate panic attacks from my life completely. The technique is a natural non-drug treatment for panic attacks and anxiety.

The ONE MOVE technique as the name implies involves the movement of the brain activity from the panicky part of the brain to the purely logical part of the brain. After my struggle with panic attack, this technique what actually helped me and I have no fear in my mind to recommend it to anyone.

If you want to eliminate your severe panic attack within a very short time, you must move activities in your brain from the midbrain to the forebrain, thus eliminating all feelings of panic. Simple! Stop wasting your money swallowing dangerous antidepressant drugs just because you want to cure your panic attacks.

Another simple technique that I have also recommended to eliminate panic attacks is the Relaxation technique. Relaxation technique can greatly assist you to eliminate severe attacks. Learning relaxation technique is not difficult. Relaxation technique usually involves re-focusing your mind or attention to something more calming and increasing better awareness of your body.

You can apply any of the two approaches to help you eliminate panic attacks completely from your life. You need not be plagued anymore by severe panic attacks. Soon, you will be confident to help others in similar circumstance.

Anxiety Quiz

Anxiety is very common. Fear, worry, anxiety, unease are all very common feelings. Anxiety attacks are not very common, but many of us suffer from anxiety attacks. Are you one of them? Let us find out.

What are anxiety attacks? An immediate onset of great amount of anxiety suddenly is an anxiety attack. Most of the anxiety attacks have physical symptoms. Let me give you an example. Say you have to deliver lecture tomorrow in front of an audience of thousand people. You will get anxious about that and remain so all through the night. But when you reach the podium, you may get the anxiety attack despite all the preparation. Most of us get such attacks. The situation may be different for all of us. There rare cases where people get anxiety attacks if they have to talk to someone of opposite sex.

Why do we get anxiety attacks? The causes of such attacks are mainly rooted in our ancestry. Our ancestors were taught by nature to save themselves by running away from any danger if they could not fight it. We have inherited those genes. Though we do not face fierce animals in jungles, we face situations that make us equally scary and we want to runaway, but unlike our ancestors we cannot run away in social situations.

The other reasons may include some incidents of childhood, that are carried to the adulthood or other psychological reasons that are better diagnosed by a medical professional. If anxiety attacks are damaging your social and work life, get treated. In case of normal attacks that you feel you can manage yourself deep breathing may help.

Panic Attacks Children

When reviewing the panic attacks children suffer, it is important to distinguish between these attacks and panic disorders. Panic disorders are an anxiety disorder and are different in nature and severity. Panic attacks usually have identifiable symptoms that last for a short while, usually less than ten minutes. The symptoms of panic attacks usually subside without the need for outside interference and does not require accelerated treatment.

Children may not be able to understand what the symptoms of an attack mean. They may not be able to even explain the symptoms. They may be afraid that they’re unwell, but wouldn’t associate symptoms with a heart attack, for example. If you’re able to observe the attack while it is going on, you’ll be better able to deal with the symptoms so that you can offer appropriate help.

Some of the panic attack symptoms in children might be shortness of breath, hot or cold temperature, fear, dizziness, racing heart rate, trembling, nausea, or sweating. The symptoms are the bodies unconscious response to extreme danger. It is commonly known as flight or fight and may occur whether the danger is real or only perceived.

It is interesting that in panic attacks children may think that the cause is some particular outside event. For example, seeing a huge dog and being afraid of the dog is linked to the intense fear they feel. The attacks might be related also to worry. The worry might be about grades or an upcoming stressful event that the child feels powerless to control. This can trigger an attack.

What is the best way to deal with the panic attacks children experience? The immediate action should be to provide comfort and reassurance. Physical holding and soothing words to let the child understand that they’re okay is the immediate need. Parents whoever do not know for certain what’s happening might be frightened, but must stay calm in order to help the child.

The parents needs to provide an image of centered support to the child. Do not react in an out of control manner, as this will make the situation worse. The attacks are usually only a few minutes in duration, so physical contact and sitting quietly will be of more help than calling for emergency services.

Once the immediate event is over, the parent needs to find out the underlying problem. Sometimes the child may not know what’s actually bothering them. The parent might need to do a tiny digging or gentle questioning to determine that the child is worried about grades or about another child whoever is a bully.

When taking action to resolve panic attacks children have, parents have an excellent opportunity to model behavior that is appropriate for dealing with problems. Telling your child to quit worrying is not nearly as effective as showing the child how to deal with situations that are difficult to control. For instance if it is the school bully that is causing your child the grief then they need to be identified as a cause and reported to the school officials. Reassuring a child whoever is worried about grades might mean that letting them know that your love for them does not depend on an examination grade.

Symptoms Of Panic Attacks

Have you ever experience a panic attack? I don’t want alarm you, but the average person will experience at least one panic attack in the course of their lifetime.

This doesn’t mean you are caught in a panic disorder, however it’s important you know what the main panic attack symptoms are and be able to recognise if you are having one.

What is a panic attack

A panic attack is the triggering of the so called “fight or flight” mechanism, i. e. is your body’s reaction to a situation your mind perceives as stressful and requiring immediate action and resolution (i. e. you have to leave it by solving it or by flying away).

If this reaction triggers in real high stress times requiring an extra level of action, then it is healthy and is going to help your survival (this is the so called “eustress” or “good stress”).

When this reaction triggers at inappropriate moments, becomes a panic attack. If a panic attack is triggered frequently in your daily life it becomes a panic disorder.

Panic attack or heart attack?

One of the main symptoms of panic attack is tightness in your chest, that could lead you to believe you are having a heart attack. In fact, panic attack and hearth attack can have surprisingly similar symptoms.

If you experienced a panic attack and have the doubt, see your doctor and go for a check with him, He will assure you that the two are different and that might be distinguished for sure and will help you to identify if you are taking hearth risking by direct check or, if needed, with some medical exams.

Happen to be having a panic attack?

So how can you tell if you are having a panic attack? Together with tightness in your chest, there are just a few less typical symptoms related to panic attacks, each varying from person to person in frequence and intensity. In fact most chronic panic sufferers tend to have a unique set of symptoms that mark uniquely their panic attacks.

Here are a few more distinguishing factors behind panic attacks:

- Increased heart rate.

- Quickness of breathing.

- Overwhelming feeling of dread or fear (panic).

- Unfounded fear towards random objects or events.

- Increased body temperature.

- Tingling in one or both arms and/or the tips of the fingers.

- Dizziness.

- Profuse sweating.

- Lightheadedness.

- Nausea.

- Minor delusions.

Panic in your mind, not in your time

Even if symptoms might be daunting, a person whoever experiences any combination of the above panic attack symptoms has to remember that the feelings will not last very long.

The fact is that panic attacks are very limited in time and the body can only maintain this reaction for, at most, 15 minutes.

So the panic is in your mind but is not in your time. It’s overwhelming but it won’t last forever in your day. It’s hard, but you won’t die and you are going to experience a relief short after.

About anxiety

When you have a panic attack, you mainly experience a feeling of anxiety about new attacks that could follow.

This is natural and a confirm that you experienced a real panic attack and not something else. This fear lasts from a few days to a week in most people.

If this fear lasts more (and this will happen probably if you are going to experience more than a panic attack in a week), then there is some evidence for a panic disorder, and a professional medical advice is mandatory. In this case seek help with a medical physician, or psychiatric doctor in order to control your attacks; and things will improve.

Panic attacks and anxiety attacks are strongly related. Discover more about anxiety attack symptoms [http://anxiety-panic-attack. thesolution2. com/Main/Anxiety-and-Panic-Attack-anxiety-symptom. php] at my website.

Fighting Anxiety

Anxiety affects the lives of millions of people. In fact, to one extent or another, everybody finds themselves immersed in spells of anxiety, at least every now and then. There are many different levels of anxiety. These levels range from mild nervousness to full blown anxiety attacks which are often referred to as panic attacks.

Panic attacks essentially ruin the lives of their victims; at least when they are present. They are so disruptive because they become the center of attention to their prey. This happens because they are so overwhelming. They actually prevent people from being able to carry out their normal day’s routine.

A spell of anxiety can be seen miles away as it approaches. When it arrives, it is normally met by a person who is 100% determined to fight it off! The problem is fighting anxiety is what keeps it alive. Anxiety, of course, is a symptom of nervousness. In fact, an anxiety or panic attack is nervousness supersized. Little do most of us realize it is our fighting that supersizes it.

The Fight or Flight Response

The explanation for this is fighting is one of the actions our nervous system responds to by pouring loads of adrenaline into our veins. The other action is running away, or flight. It is adrenaline that is the answer to our call when we are in a mindset of “fight or flight. ” It is our sympathetic nerves which sense our state is one of fight or flight and so the adrenaline is manufactured in order to give us more strength, to fight, and more speed, for flight.

This would be fine if we were still in the Neanderthal stage of our evolution, or perhaps if we were playing football. However, when we are engaged in normal 21st century activities, adrenaline’s excess energy manifests itself as panic; or at least extreme nervousness.

Rest and Digest

The key we must master in order to overcome anxiety disorder and prevent panic attacks from occurring is learning how to hone the ability to meet oncoming anxiety with calmness. The opposite of fight or flight is rest and digest. The most important word here is rest. Meeting anxiety and an attitude of no fighting or no running away is accomplished by putting down your guard and accepting whatever anxiety throws at you.

By using a response of resting instead of fighting your parasympathetic nerves will arrest adrenaline flow and nervousness will not be able to build into panic. This, of course, is something that cannot be learned overnight. However, once it is, you will have gained the ability to defeat anxiety in your life. Even before you master the rest and digest response, simply knowing what anxiety and panic are made of will take the steam out of them!

Anxiety Problems

I’ve really bad anxiety and I honestly think right now , the only thing to help is medication. What are specific ways of obtaining a script. What measures do you’ve to take , etc. Today I found out that… First, you need to see a counselor. Only a counselor can determine the best method to control your anxiety. Generally, counselors will attempt cognitive behavioral therapy first. . Basically teach you how to stop the anxiety. If that isn't effective enough, THEN medication will be looked into. Medication should be your last resort if you haven't seen a counselor.

Speech Anxiety

I have to have a 5-7 minute class activity after my speech and presentation. It has to do something with stage fright/speech anxiety. I was thinking to do something like HEAVEN. And they would have to describe them selves with each letter of the word. Then they would have to publicly tell every one about them selves. Please help with anyother ideas PLEASE. From what I can tell… I would try to show that stage fright is (typically) increased when the speaker is talking about something unfamiliar or formal, and decreases when speaking about something familiar and casual. You might also want to show that (typically) it is easier to speak when you are not forced to look at the people you are speaking to. This is an age-old trick of public speaking, to look just over the audience's heads while speaking. There is also a trick that is taught, to try and imagine your audience in their underwear. But, you probably won't get much cooperation. Hope this helps.

Anxiety In Children

Most children will experience a typical fear or anxiety when growing up.   They might get anxiety about going to school for the first time, be it a public school or a church class.   In most cases, these fears do not develop into an anxiety  disorder .   But, there are some children that may show symptoms of a  disorder.   If the child becomes irrational about going to school or Sunday school then these are signs to be aware of.

One of the ways we want to protect our child is to dismiss a major concern such as anxiety that is above a normal reaction.     Here are a few signs to be aware of  in your child’s behavior:

1.       Being excessively worrying about everyday events.

2.       Excessively worrying about some home events

3.       They tend to be extremely hard on themselves,

They might even redo tasks in an effort to get it perfect.

4.       They might seek constant approval and reassurance from others.

Keep in mind that these are regular patterns and not an occasional

appearance.

There is a type of anxiety disorder widely seen for either a child or an adult.   This is called Obsessive-compulsive disorder and is classified as another type of anxiety disorder.   This type of disorder is unwanted thoughts or obsessions that can’t seem to leave the the child’s mind. They also might display strong urges to repeatedly perform ritualistic tasks and routines to try to ease their anxieties.   Although the peak age at which a child might be diagnosed with this type of disorder is the age of 10,  it has been detected in children as young as ages two or three but this is rare.   Other symptoms to watch out for, can be a child washing his/her hands excessively or fear that they will accidentally do something wrong. They may  keep recounting things over and over again for fear that they will not get the count right.

One of the main concerns is that if this anxiety pattern, if left to find its own course, might develop into anxiety attacks or panic attacks in the adolescents years.

When any of these anxiety’s interferes with their lives,  and seems to exist for a period of six months or more then they’re said to have an phobia.   One such phobia is freezing in place when confronted with a fear.

I remember when I was a child, I use to be afraid of my dark bedroom at night when the lights were turned off.   I also had anxiety of encountering strange dogs.   These fears and anxiety’s are simmering widely seen and should not be of concern as they will pass with age as mine did.

One of the main concerns of specialist is that if these anxieties, if left to find there own course,  will develop into anxiety attacks or panic attacks in the adolescents years. These attacks are rare before this age (they are referring to the excessive behavioral patterns) and nit normal anxieties.

Children can develop anxiety disorders if they experience a traumatic  event such as the death of a parent or someone they love. or suffer a physical assault, physical abuse or even witness a tragic event, they’re said to become under a anxiety disorder.   What are signs to be aware of–Not eating, not sleeping or having nightmares of the event.   They might express to you the fear of that event might happen again.

Children, generally times do not understand what is happening to themselves, they might not realize that their fears are irrational or that they may not be able to take the stress involved.   At this point, you need to consult a doctor.

There is much study ongoing for both children and adults.   I know there are programs now available that care cure anxiety and panic attacks without the use of drugs.   One such program I came across you might want to check out is om my site, link shown below.    Get your child’s life back on the road to recovery!

I hope I’ve been of some help!

Warmly,

Craven Solutions,

Ken

How To Cure Panic Attacks

Happen to be looking for the answer to the question how to cure panic attack? If so then you have come to the right place.

Now there is no real definite answer when it comes to cure a panic attack because you cannot ever completely cure them. You can try to prevent a panic attack from occurring and you can ease an attack if it comes on, but can you ever truly cure a panic attack?

Understanding Panic Attacks

Before you can find out how to cure panic attack, you first have to know what triggers your panic attacks off and also you need to understand more about panic attacks.

Basically panic attacks can occur at any time and for any reason. Every single person suffers from panic attacks for different reasons. So in order to understand your panic attacks, you need to first recognise when it is that you seem to suffer from them the most. Is it whilst you are among large crowds of people? Is it when you are close to something you fear? Or do they just seem to occur for no reason at all? You must find out what triggers your attack.

Panic attacks can range in severity so when you are looking at how to cure panic attack, the answer will vary again from person to person. If your attacks are particularly severe then you will need a different treatment than those who suffer with mild attacks.

How to Cure Panic Attack

Once you know how severe your attacks are and when they tend to occur, it is then that you can truly look into how to cure panic attack. It might be that you need to learn to breathe deeper. Breathing deeply is definitely one of the best treatments that you can use for panic attacks and the best thing is it is completely natural and easy to do once you have practised a little.

Another thing you will find when you look at how to cure panic attack is that exercise can help. It can really help those who suffer from mild panic attacks. However, if you have more severe attacks then whilst it may still help, it will certainly not cure your panic attacks and you may also need to use medication from a doctor.
